hey so I just bought a set of falken wildpeak 33x12.5R15s on a great deal from the tire shop I work at and I was wondering if there is any way I can put them on my stock 96 taco without a lift or if offset/backspacing would be enough

I have a 96 single cab with 285/75r16 which is a 33x11 on a 16x10 wheel and it rubs like hell. You can probably pull it off with a 15x8 but still have to do a good bit of trimming

I wouldn't try it without a lift to be honest. That's a big tire. I'm going to run 16x10 305/70r16 on my double cab and I know I'm going to have to do a good bit of trimming

You'll rub a lot you'd have to do lots of cutting to make it fit.

theyl fit with trimming, hammering, and less backspacing. somewhere around 3.5" should keep you off frame (stock is 4.5)

i nvr recommend people clear tires relying on lift (the usual 2.5-3") because it wont help you when your offroad with suspension flexed out or when you bottom out over a bump.
