can i get a wider tire with my wheel??

ok, i have micky thomson classic 2s...16x9 not sure what the offset is, i was wondering if i can get a wider size tire? and if i can what size....i have 265 70 16s rite now...i plan on putting the 5100s on thats been in the garage for about a month now sumtime to level it out a bit. so what size should i get?

 

I have the Toytec 3" lift with lame spacers up front (hopefully coilovers soon), and have 285/70/17s. A little rubbing on the inner fenders, mostly on mudflaps, but they work great. BTW, I have 17x9 wheels.

Hey cole, I just thought about this and noticed that you have an older gen. I have the 2008 Tacoma with the 285 width. Not sure if it will still work with the previous gen, but maybe.
