    Oh look, another mod....
Driving style (how fast you drive and if it's all city or all highway), tire weight and additional weight, plus the area you're in (higher elevations and hills or wind really hurt the MPGs) factor in.

I live in Texas aka Flat Land. I can get 20-21MPG for the tank average all day, every day. Without breaking a sweat.

Slow down, so others can see how cool your truck looks. If you're doing 80MPH, we can't see your bad ass pimp-mobile!

You really can't do anything unless you remove your mods.
If it's any consolation, some of that loss could be because you measured your stock mpg before October and your modded mpg after October.
October of every year is when they switch from summer to winter gas blend. We all lose 5-10% until March. Every year

Interesting, I didn't think about that. I figured in California where it was 82F December 26th they don't do winter blend . Maybe they do though I'll look into that.

Every state every time. This is one time Cali is not special.
Point is, you might get a one to one and a half mpg boost next spring.

Are you running stock everything? 20-21mpgs with any lift or bigger tires would be insanely good. Im at sea level so elevation isn't hurting me but on Cali highways the flow of traffic is rarely below 75, I find myself often going 85+ just to get tailgated and passed by honda civics lol, unless youre in the far right lane but then you have to deal with merging vehicles and trucks. I keep trying to drive 65-70mph and I get about 5 min in and im like "fuck this" and start accelerating. I know if I could manage to do it I would probably get around ~15mpgs.

Lol trust me I want to, but at this point I'd hate to be another California transplant. I will eventually though.

You’ll blend in just fine here. Are your tires E rated?

    I don’t know.

On highways I try not to go over 70, can easily do 18-21 depending on the season. In the city it’s not that hard to get 17-18, I take her easy and try to drive “smart”, such as coast where I can and accelerate lightly.

Im running 52 pound 33x10 tires, 2”lift, bed rack with RTT sticking out half way and about 600 of extra weight (including RTT and bed rack). Not sure how you guys are driving but for me to get 13-14, I would have to drive very aggressively.

Im running SFOB on 94E0 if that matters.

This was a couple months ago, 21 mpgs, not going faster than 70 or so. That’s not calibrated to 33” tires by the way.

Yup, stock everything. Well, I swapped out my wheels. But they're the same size & weight as the OEM's. Here is what my truck looks like currently:

Now, 95% of my driving (this is my daily driver) is highway. I can even set the cruise while driving to work, at 65MPH. I drive slow because I'm not important and wherever I'm going, can wait until I get there. If I get passed by a Civic or a Karen in a minivan, so fucking what. It's a highway, not a Nascar race. I'm in no rush.

Last week, while I was off for Christmas, I was doing a lot of city driving, and it was VERY windy. That knocked my MPG's down to 16-17MPG's.

City driving and a head wind will make the MPG's take a serious nose dive. Also, don't idle for long periods of time. This is worse than city driving.

Yes I believe so, Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 285/75/R16, I think they only come in E rated for that tire.

Damn thats impressive, does the oil really affect the MPGs? I think even if I drove slower I still couldn't get close to that, and I think you have more weight than I do too. Are you regeared? And what gas are you running? Is it any different than whats here in the states?

I don’t think 45 psi is going to make the ride that much rougher. I would try it for a tank of gas and see if it changes the mpg.

Yea Im thinking I will. Will also try 91 octane gas to see if the mileage boost is worth the extra 40cents a gallon.

There is nothing that you can do to a stock truck to improve fuel mileage enough to offset the cost of whatever you try to do. There are plenty of modifications that can be done that will make fuel mileage worse. As you have seen. If you're going to play, you're gonna have to pay. Live with it or take it back to stock.
