Lift on truck is currently Ishock 3" lift in the front with 1" block and tsb rear. I'm running the ishock UCA's as well. They ball is fairly noisy.

I'm going to replace the lift as the shocks need rebuilt with ome/887's front and ome rear shocks. Also seriously considering dropping down to 265/70/17 tires as well. Wheels are ATX artillery 17x9 with -12 offset. Would I have any issues throwing my stock UCA'S back in?

I'm thinking the narrower tire I might be able to get away with it but then again it might make it even worse.

    Any thoughts?

UCA are more importantly there to keep everything in alignment more than just clearing the tire...
if your new lift is below 2.5" you shouldn't have a problem though

I'll be up around 3". My buddy is at 3 on stock ucas and pulled it off but every truck is different.

I'm thinking clearance may not be an issue but alignment is iffy

apparently anything over 2 is iffy anything over 2.5 is basically for sure.. but I have seen a lot of guys who are ruining cheap spacers sitting at 3" with stock uca... granted they probably aren't aligned very well nor do they care but..

Well, it's really hard to discern the noises now as I think my leaky shocks are the culprit for some of it. Once the OME's are on, that will make it easier.

The balls are gunked up some as well from all the lube I've been throwing at them and they need a really good cleaning.

I prefer proper alignment more than anything. These trucks drive like shit on the highway with low caster. I don't think a lot of these guys who are "getting away without UCA's" realize how shitty their trucks drive compared to one that is properly aligned.

Very good point Justinlhc. I've read +2.5 to 3 caster is the ticket for lifted. I think I'll stick with my UCAS and not go backwards. If they drive me nuts I'll get some LR's so I can replace the balls when they wear.

No since on lifting and reverting back to half ass.
