Can I just unplug stock tweeters ina 1st gen?

    There’s no crossover.

    I had a Gen 1 until 2009 and I just don’t remember that it had separate HF/LF in the doors, but it was a basic bitch model, and also that was forever ago and I really don’t know what it actually had.

    Odds are they did it the same way they do now, which is send full range to each and the HF has a filter capacitor. Probably you use the woofer feed to the input of your aftermarket crossover and connect your speakers to it and the speaker wire for the factory HF goes unused.

    Could be why I can’t find any info on this? So the wires to the bottom speaker are full range not missing some highs?

    Yeah it’s pretty normal to just let the high end roll off naturally on factory woofers because it doesn’t hurt anything. There’s only any kind of crossover present when you have a premium factory radio.
