I'm about to install my new mesh grill. Because of the size of the holes, you can really see the light grey behind it. If I lightly rattle can it flat back,do I run a risk of messing it up? Thanks in advance.

Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
Any coating will reduce the efficiency of the radiator.

RIP to my 08 Prerunner DC
I did mine in Grill paint. I havn't noticed anything not even 1 degree of temp climb. What I did was go kinda heavy on the side pilars and then just lightly mist the fins. I just wanted to slightly change the color not clog the whole thing up.

I don't see where a light misting of the radiator will do any harm to the effects of the cooling system.

Yes, It does not affect the efficiency of the radiator. The eastwood stuff is good as well, I have used it in the past on radiators and intercoolers.

Most radiators are painted black from the factory anyways. Some people have argued that black painted radiators are actually more efficient than if they weren't painted.

You will be fine. Painting a radiator will not affect your cooling system or its abilities lol...
