Can I put wires through this?

    Hence the not finished yet part. Rigged up to insure it was getting power etc. A fuse tap, while not needed for my particular truck, would be cleaner of course. The chipping near the fuse was like that before I bought the truck 9 years ago, not sure what is up with that but the terminal is clean underneath the fuse.

    There’s a terminal made for that purpose. It slips over the hot side fuse blade then you push in the fuse and it leaves a male spade terminal exposed to which you can attach an insulated female spade terminal leaving no fuzzy copper hanging. Still needs an inline fuse after that so another common and clean method that leaves both fuses equally accessible is an add-a-fuse.

    I had planned to use the add a fuse during vacation last week; alas, my uncle's health took priority UGH. I do agree that would be the better way even though that circuit isn't "used" in a sense, as I don't have that accessory. Just have to hope for a decent weather day this weekend..

    Thx man..though better as in a return to normal life isn't in the cards, it's more about changing his living situation so his safety is optimized.
