Ok I've read and researched just want to make sure what I'm about to do is right. I have a 2009 Tacoma pre runner double cab. I bought front spacers that give me 2 1/2 and rear blocks that level it out.

Can I run 285's just for look no off roading on stock powder coated oem 17 inch rims? Some trim I know just want a clean tough loo.!

Thanks for the help in advance

I think you will need spacers or rims with 4.5" BS to run 285s. And as you already figured out there will be trimming and possibly CMC

Oh duh spacers to clear the UCA's for sure or new rims with 4.5" BS like he said. I think you should be fine without CMC but you probably will need to trim

Yup wheel spacers or new wheels for 285s otherwise you will rib the UCAs. You will probably have to trim the bumper and fender a bit but no cmc. I got just about 3" and had to trim a decent amount. Kinda depends on tires too.

    Many, the list goes on..
Yes to all above. I run 285's. Have after market rims with 4.5 back spacing. A little trim but not even noticeable. I went ahead and did UCA's. No rubbing.
