Thanks man! You're gonna love it. So easy to clean it out. I just vacuum the big crap out and then wipe it down with armor all. Leaves it looking like new:thumbsup:

2-4 hrs max from start to finish. Hardest part is taking most of the interior out. It is really a piece of cake to do though. Enjoy a few brewskis while you're doing it, its really hard to mess anything up if you just take your time. It also took me longer than it would most because when I removed clips/bolts from the interior, I put them all in their own bags and labeled everything. Made putting it all back together much quicker

Lol its one of my favorites as well. I could quote it all day long :D

Definitely worth considering if you use your truck as a truck. Since you'll be wheeling yours, might come in handy:thumbsup:

@rjbiii did you accomplish or attempt any other projects while disassembled?

    Wiring?

    Sound deadner?

    Stuff like that.

I'd rather take it apart once and do anything I want to do along the way, rather than take it apart multiple times.

Also, why did the mat clips have to set back further? Is that just were the perfs are in the flooring?

I intend to hit up my local dealer parts guy in the next few days. Suggestions for best online pricing that I can challenge him to match if needed? Best I've found so far is about $402 + shipping. Of course some are tax free, local I'll be stuck for 7%, so it would pretty much wash the shipping I guess.

I shouldve done the sound deadening while i had everything apart, but i couldnt afford the dynamat at the time. If you are going to add sound deadening or do any kind of wiring though, it would be an ideal time while you have everything already gutted.

The mat clips had to sit back further in my '13 because the original clips for the floor mats used were actually part of the carpet mat that came out. Whenever i pulled the carpet out, the original clips went with it, so i had to use the other holes for the floor mat clips.

I would PM @gunny1005 on here and get a quote from him. Mine was about 385 shipped for my double cab m/t, and 400 shipped for my access cab m/t. Not sure why the access cab costed more, but that was the case.. He is typically pretty competitive on pricing, so id start there and see if you can get the local guys to price match if you dont want to deal with shipping. I dont think gunny responds to the threads for price quote requests, but if you PM him and give him a couple of days to get back with you, he can typically get you a good price shipped.

Let me know if you have any other questions man!

Anyone know the part number for the undercapet pad/layering for 3rd gen double cap?

or can refer me to a decent picture of it in full view so i’m able to cut the replacement part out myself of similar material.
