    Hey all,
I was wondering, to get a little extra room in my cab, can I swap out my bench in my single cab 09 for bucket seats of a different body type?
    Thank you

I tried it on the 09 that I used to have. I bought seats from an earlier year - they fit (had to buy bolts), but none of the sensors plugged in and the seat belt receivers were different.

Probably could have got everything to work, but decided it wasn't worth the effort (and I wanted even more room) - wound up trading it for an Access Cab, and never looked back.

If you decide to try it, I'd suggest getting 09 seats to at least try and avoid model year differences. You'll still likely wind up modifying something (assuming you want all the air-bags, sensors, etc to work as intended).

    Good luck.

(There's a great thread in the stickies above with details)

eBay I believe. I know that's where I resold them when I decided not to use them.

Looking at the sticky I mentioned, I don't think even same year seats will guarantee success...... may want to read it carefully before putting down any $$$

I did it in the 06 regular cab I had, bought the seats off ebay from a wrecked truck. It was a PITA but I made it work. The driver's seat bolted right in and the sensors in that side plugged right in but the passenger side was a different story I had to swap all the sensors over from the bench seat to make it work. It took me all day one Saturday to do.
