Gotta love a S-10 with stacks. I have yet to make it to St. L but I lived in the KC Mo area.

I read that and I think it validates my original statement (good write-up by the way). If you change the exhaust either by changing pipe size or eliminating/adding components, it changes the exhaust flow charactaristics and can either add or reduce backpressure when compared to the stock system which, in turn, affects how well the engine performs. Either that or I completely missed something...

You keep using the term back pressure. No exhaust system should have any back pressure in it.

I think we're getting at the same thing, I'm just off in my terminology. Perhaps I should be using exhaust flow characteristics instead? :notsure:

    That is awesome! Group Buy!

Anyone see the old Pimp My Ride where they put that big speaker system under the car to mimic the exhaust note of various super cars? It was like the bigger, more expensive version of this.

dumped exhaust, blacked out tails and third brake, fog light mod, painted rear bumper, rims and front grill,Cobra 29 special edition added.
You don't need an exhaust, I have mine cut into a dump and I love the sound and I have more power than with the muffler, can still smoke V8's and some cars

Are those V8s and cars actually running you, or are they turning and racing the other direction to get away from that god-awful noise? :D:D:D

Wouldn't exhaust pipe size have some say in back pressure? I mean if you used a smaller size piping wouldn't the high pressure area be more compressed or would it just elongate? Also how would you mind explaining how taking everything from the cat back off would affect performance in regards to exhaust scavenging?

Let me get this straight - you want to remove your muffler for the sound?

Oh, wait. I see you're from AR. Go ahead there bubba ;)
