You're just taking him under your wing cause your trucks look the same!

Op, feel free to keep asking questions, asking now is better than being stuck later!

    back to the diff lock...

Right now your truck is 1 wheel drive, all of them are. When you engage your diff lock you are truly 2 wheel drive. when you engage 4wd you are also 2wd, 1 front, 1 back. If you lock the rear then you are 3 wheel drive, 2 rear 1 front. if you lock the front and the rear you are truly 4wd and nothing can stop you.

    Shh. I'm a lv 7 paladin and he's a noob.
Thanks, a lot of $ has gone into it. A 4wd conversion will be part of it soon.
No not as of yet, but I believe @tcBob is working on it.
They're 33" 285/75 Goodyear MT/R Kevlars. Got them from discount tire, I found them cheaper on another site but they matched it and gave a better deal. Just got them rotated and balanced the other day.

Before you touch the truck by doing any mods, I highly recommend you spend alot of time on here reading and researching. I would learn what all the buttons in the truck do before you start messing with other stuff lol.

Generally speaking its going to cost a whole lot more to convert your truck then just sell yours and buy a 4x4..

I think I'm safe to say OP doesn't have skills/means/knowledge to install a conversion him self.
