Can I tow a 20.4 ' chawk boat with my 2020 Tacoma 3.5 v6 TRD Sport 4x4?

Can I tow a 20.4 ' c-hawk boat with my 2020 Tacoma 3.5 v6 TRD Sport 4x4? 2008 Trailer title does not show a length or weight. Boat weight I think is 2280 lbs.

Somewhere on the trailer frame, often on the tongue near the jack, there originally should have been VIN/Data decals similar to the ones below. Sometimes they are on the inside of the frame rail.



I believe by 2020 all V6 equipped trucks came with the towing package as standard equipment. If yours does it should have a plug to the left of the licence plate like this:

The right side has 4 prongs and is used for lighter weight trailers generally below about 3000 pounds.

The left side has 7 prongs and is used with heavier trailers equipped with electric brakes. If your boat trailer has this connector you will need to add a brake controller to your truck.
