I will be purchasing a travel trailer in due time around the same weight as yours, homework completed as well:thumbsup:. How long is the one you purchased out of curiosity?

    Yeah.
I think the OP gave up on the idea already. But he also indicated he may just need to move the trailer around his yard. It would probably be fine just moving it to mow or something.

It's about a 20' box and 24' stem to stern.

Just installed a Hellwig Helper Spring on the squatty ass to reintroduce rake and resist the squat beyond level. This on top of Sumo Springs.

Nice setup, I’m going with a double axle set-up as well and just under 22’ stem to stern. I’ll look into the helper spring/sumo springs you mentioned:thumbsup:

There's a few ways to go about it but I started by adding the Sumos. Helped a little in how the ass end reacted but they aren't designed yo fix that issue. I'm planning to put the 6xxx Bilsteins up front and in back but don't want to raise the truck so high that I have to start worrying about ECGS, UCA's, LCA's, etc but an eventually switch over to Deavers leak pak may be my final fix.

Test drive first. My Tacoma did excellent on the freeway, great in the mountains, but could not maintain 60 in the southern Nevada desert, there are very long slight grades. It didn’t have enough power/rpms in 4th, too much power/rpms in 3rd. Towing a huge box seems to be very subjective and varies with location.
