    fox 2.0s i want to put in the rears. 29" extended, 19" compressed. Will these work with 2-3" lift in the back? Im a newbie to shock lengths. I believe these were intended for a jeep. Any info helps!!!!

    The guy selling them doesnt have the part number but says they are for a '15 jeep rubicon with a 5" long arm kit. I think they are for a 6" lift

    Lift, tires, mats, blah, blah, blah...
    I believe those are too long.

    I'm running a 2.75" lift in the rear with Bilstein 5160's (14.22″ collapsed and 24.06″ extended).

    Since you don't have 10" of wheel travel in the rear, I would say go for it as long as they bolt up. Just bump it / strap it accordingly.

    actually you might be right. But if you're crafty enough you could make new mounts and make them work, then again why spend the time / money and not just buy the shocks you need from the get go.

    If you want those specs, why not get Bilstein B110s? Mine ride great.

    I'd be concerned that they're too long to compress under load. My extended travel rear Fox shocks are 15" collapsed and I'm on Dakar springs. So I'm probably sitting somewhere around 18-19" with no load in the rear (blind guess). The true test is to go out and measure what your shocks are resting at with whatever springs you have on the rear.

    You'd have to put a shock hoop in to make them effective. I'd stear clear.

    With extended bumps and brake lines, you'll be fine if they bolt up.

    Not to derail the thread, but how much lift do you think you have in the rear with the Dakar + AAL after settling?

    I was wondering if I should have added the AAL in mine.

    It's relative. If you have springs that increase your ride height compared to stock, not necessarily.

    I was under the impression that you would need to reweld the shock mounts and straps with bump stops. I will stick with my 2.0 sway a way race runners. Thanks for the feed back everyone.
