Thats asking WAY too much from your truck, theres people here that have done it, but they're quite simply, morons. Travel trailers are the worst to tow, they are very tall, sway in the wind, have alot of drag, and this one is HEAVY. And usually the "dry weight" is without options, this trailer will weigh more. Why does every member with a 2nd gen think this is a 3/4 ton truck when its not even close to a 1/2 capabilities. Towing this on anything more than a 10 mile trip will be a nightmare, dont be fooled by the "6500" pound tow rating. Any person with alot of towing experience (me included) with different machines will say this isnt a good idea, other 2nd gen owners will say "youll be fine" Yea right.

The GVWR at 6800# is too high for your tacoma. I'm towing a hi-lo trailer w/5500# GVWR without any problems. You may have to choose the next smaller size model in the passport line.
