id like to have them light up all the time then dim when I turn on the head lights. Is there an option for this? I tinted my windows and it's a little harder to see the gauges sometimes than I'd like

Might want to check your tint. Too dark and you won't pass NC inspection.

Kind of on the same lines as this, but I dislike that when I turn the headlights on the nav screen goes much darker. It only really is a pain when I have the lights on because it's raining durning the day or something.

That's how the instrument cluster lights on my 2009 work, go retro.

You can adjust the "lights on" brightness so it is not so dark on the rainy days.

No BRO-ness to speak of... Well, except Kbro2's
Totally asinine on Toyota's part to not have the dash panel configured as backlit LED's. Brand new truck design.... with 1980's dashboard technology. I have 20% on the two fronts and can't see sh*t unless the lights are on.

Displeases me just about as much a the cheap ass plastic they use for dash glass that scratches to hell and back when ever anyone as much as even looks at it. Mine looks as if i clean it daily with 80 grit sand paper.
