Thanks for all the excellent info and advice guys. If I have serious intentions of going LT down the line, is there a lift treatment that is a good transitional lift? ie. Many of the parts will be used for the LT as well? For example, having a 6" DB lift would allow me to do the LT lift in halves (front and rear) right? Or if I went mid travel would I be able to use the same COs, UCAs, etc.? Its hard for me to swallow spending $3k on a 6" DB lift or a proper 3" suspension lift if I will have to replace the entire lift again when I pull the trigger on LT. As always thanks for the patience with a rook.

No, there are no parts shared in a 6" DB lift and LT. Spend as little as you can on stuff that will get thrown away when you do LT. I did my front end and only added an add-a-leaf (1.5") to the rear until I LT the rear. Im not wasting any money on parts to make it look "cool" during the build

There's not really anything that will help you transition because LT completely replaces everything. A drop down bracket lift will be a huge step in the wrong direction, as they require cutting the stock crossmember off and that will have to be welded back on when you go LT.

If I were you, I'd put 2.5'' Remote Reservoir OEM replacement coil overs up front (Fox, King, etc.) and run Camburg or TC UCA's (to correct your alignment). Get the TSB in the rear and run Bilstein 5100's. The front end will out run the rear but it will be a large improvement over stock. This will help you decide if LT is for you.

When you are ready to go LT, do the rear end first. With CO's and UCA's up front and LT in the rear, you will be able to haul some ass. Save up some more, go LT up front, and you will be flying.
