Can not decide!! Need some black headlight pics

I do remember reading about some issues with the lights going out and such, but I have no first hand knowledge.

From a pure aesthetic opinion standpoint... I personally can't stand them because they don't flow with the truck. But to each their own, it's your truck go with what makes you happy

I have an 09, so mine are kind of black. I'd do the mod but I'm afraid of getting leaks...

 

Yours are the "smoked" I would just leave them. They look great like that.

And really if you just press it together nice and tight and make sure all the snaps and clamps are interlocked, you shouldnt have any leaking.

I opened the same set 3 times, never had to re seal...

Love the truck!! but i was wondering on your rims, did u get them powdercoated, or did u just sand them down, and paint them yourself?

I've been wanting to do this mod for awhile but I'm wondering if blacking it out makes the lights dimmer?

 

it shouldn't, you aren't painting the chrome/dome housing, you are only painting the surrounding plastic
