Hi everyone, just put a deposit on a 2000 Tacoma Prerunner in Kentucky. Unfortunately, I'm in Florida and have to fly up to pay the balance and drive it back.

I asked the guy to take some pictures of the frame and this is what he sent back... do this look like a deal breaker to anyone, or is it ok?

This was a one owner truck, always in Kentucky and has 194,000 miles on it.

Appreciate it! I'm freaking out a little bit now :(

I'd get my money back if at all possible. I guess to caveat, unless it was a killer deal and you are okay making structural repairs to the frame.

Thanks for the quick replies guys.

Well the body and interior were in SUCH good condition I was actually ok paying a little more than it was worth $5,500. I only asked for the frame pictures as an afterthought thinking it must be ok since everything else was so pristine. Guess I was wrong.

I definately don't want to have to do any structural work, guess I'll call the deal off.

Thanks again appreciate it... my first post lol. I used to have one of these way back when I was in college and wanted another one now, so have been looking for awhile.

Price is to high for the condition of the frame .

If I could get that for $2000.00 to $3000.00 i would buy it in a minute !1

Sad they tried to hide the rust by spraying all that Under Coating on there.

Your lucky they did not respray then take the pictures

So are a lot of girls until close inspection. If only pictures alone could tell you what you need to know.

Hey, at least he was honest enough to send the right pictures...........

    Yes it do.

Add that afterthought to your 'thankful' list in your prayers tonight.
