For GVWR considerations you use tongue weight for towed load. For towing capacity considerations you use the actual weight of the towed load. There is also a tongue weight limit which I’m not familiar with. But if you exceed that you’re likely exceeding the tow capacity.

Just find your model here, listed as “hitch weight”

    https://coachmenrv.com/apex-nano

…likely to be around 400 lbs or so. Should also be posted on the trailer somewhere, maybe inside the door or door frame. Keep in mind tongue weight rises with anything added to the trailer. Listed hitch weight is empty. Propane, water, etc

Pretty sure the hitch weight max on the 3rd gen 2.7 is 350lbs last I looked.

Where are you getting the 900 lbs? If it's the cargo capacity in the door jamb then that is not the tow rating. That is the payload capacity.

Go here on the Tundras.com site and there is loads of good info. https://www.tundras.com/threads/tow-ratings-guide-how-to-be-safe.39211/

North American vehicle towing capacities are the idiots guide for towing. Follow it and you will probably be OK if you adjust your speed accordingly. i live in an area popular for campers and such. Very common to see a loaded pickup towing a travel trailer in a big rush on friday evening to get to the park for a prime spot before they are all gone. They are loaded down with wife and kids, passing everything on the road while the tail is wagging the dog. Probably below towing capacity but absolutely scary to watch. Have seen more than my fair share of these off in the ditch, luckily haven't come across any fatalities. Common sense seems to elude these people. On the other hand you will see people in compact cars with hard top campers or small travel trailers probably overloaded, puttering along with full control of their vehicles. Never see any of these in distress. Just my observations.
