    Diff drop isnt going to make that much of a difference. Its only going to change the andle a couple of degrees. Remember, a 1" drop spanning an drive shaft 14" long ........

    Alright - so I bought a set of spring compressors from O'Reillys ($40) and started compressing my coils. I didn't get very far in to it before the large bolts looked like they were binding, so for safety reasons (read 'I got scared'), I just stopped.

    I'll take them to Pep Boys tomorrow to get it done for $20 per side. I went there this evening to have them done, but they couldn't get to them before they closed.

    Good choice. Those springs are under ALOT of tension, and many of the compressors you get at a local hop arnt up to the task of compredding the Tacoma springs.

    Figured as much. Those springs are HEAVY!!!

    Dropped them off at a Car-X to get assembled. $40 - pick them up tomorrow.
