I have been using my 2000 Tac TRD to tow a small travel trailer. Both the truck and the trailer are capable of traveling significant distances over very rough roads to get to places I want to camp. But here's the rub: my wife isn't. The bumping and jarring are very difficult for her.

So I'm wondering if, rather that get a different TV with softer suspension, is it feasible to give the Tacoma a softer ride? I welcome any thoughts on this.

    Thanks,
    Randy

I've heard good things about add on airbags for the leafs smoothing the ride during towing. You may want to look into those? Just a guess from what I've read on here.

Air down your tires when offroad. Air them back up when back on pavement.
