I've searched the forums and didn't find any other post about this.

I know the 3.5 is a Atkinson cycle motor. Does that prevent it from being boosted? I have yet to find any aftermarkets for it and didn't know if it was possible or not. What is your alls thoughts and opinions?

Well more so explaining why it couldn't be is what I was more so wondering about. Appreciate it.

Why? Do you feel it is underpowered and gutless?

I do feel it is underpowered in some areas, I know it says on paper it says makes more power then the last gen but I'm wishing they kept the 4.0 because it felt like the more power house of the two.

Power gains, torque/horsepower? How difficult was it to install? Can you give a date when it could be available to the public?

Of course it can, but the barrier to this is the ECU to my understanding. Until someone cracks it and makes a tune available to the general public, it will remain in its locked down pseudo-atkinson state. Any supercharging kits would need to run a piggyback system which is risky and cost prohibitive.

    Always in process
It will become a Miller Cycle when you supercharge it so Toyota's whole marketing scheme toting Atkinson goes right out the window!! Someone will produce a supercharger eventually, just don't hold your breath

Guy's, i'm not much above sea level so HP and Torque is amazing. It netted about 73 hp 91 ft-lbs with a hand calculated mpg of 19.87

Oh, I think you're way above sea level, like 20,000ft above. Somewhere close to Cloud Nine.:)
