I used a drill and sanding drums to do between the spokes and a paint removal wheel for the face of the spokes. The wheel was a bit too aggressive though but they're just for winter anyway, so I wasn't too concerned. If you can get them blasted and powder coated for a good price, it wouldn't be a bad idea. Or find a set in better shape. Even used shit is more expensive in Canada though. I paid $200 for my corroded to shit sport wheels, but they came with tires which I sold for $100. I've seen people selling newish takeoffs for like $1200 with the shitty dunlops.

Not yet but they've only been on for about a month. There is a couple chips from the morons at the tire shop. I don't get how they can't take an extra 60 seconds installing your wheels to make sure to not chip them with the impact wrench. Idiots...

I bought a set of Tundra wheels on Craigslist that looked a little better than yours, but still had a decent amount of corrosion. I took them to a local guy who does really nice work. He sand blasted, then powdercoated them. They came out really nice.

yes it will look great but $300 for the powder coat then you have to pay for someone to take tire off and put back on then it could be another $100. Local places here wont take them unless tire is off. For the most part they don't have the tire machines!

Do you have Les Schwab tire centers there? They do powder coating themselves and as I understand it is way less than $300. I should give em a call and get a quote.

They just clip on the centre cap. Just squeeze the tabs on the back and they pop right off. Just be careful not to break the tabs.
