I got a letter last year and my frame failed and was replaced. I got another letter this past aug. and called the dealer and was told it needed to be coated with underbody spray, but that dealer lost my appt. and I called another one. They scheduled me for an overnight frame spray, but then it rained and they had to reschedule. When I called them back to check on when my appt was they told me they'd need an hour to inspect the frame first and they'd reschedule me for the spray. Got a call back a few minutes later and some manager guy tells me the first person I talked to was wrong and toyota isn't spraying the new frames. Can somebody tell me what's going on?

Nice thing was I got the truck for $4000
Man that sucks for the confusion, I just got my frame sprayed by Toyota and it looks and probably will be great to prevent rust. The only downside was I live 50 minutes from the Toyota dealership and they couldn't inspect and spray the frame all at once

So are y'all getting the spray on NEW frames? If yes, when did you get your frames replaced?

If you have a 01-04 you either get a new frame because yours failed the perforation test, or your frame gets sprayed because it passed the perforation test.

Ok, so Toyota made a mistake. They sent me a letter last year and I got the replacement, but they sent me another letter this year so I was confused. Makes sense now, thanks.
