I don't think this fits the need of OP. This function only works if you arm or un-arm the alarm.

I think OP is asking for auto-lock once you shut off the engine and leave the car.

I believe this is for when you push the unlock button then get distracted or whatever and don't open the door. It will relock until you push the fob again.

My menu is slightly different as you have an auto. Yours will unlock and lock doors shifting in and out of park it seems. Mine will only auto lock after a specific speed has been reached. However from what I see is yours will relock to whatever interval you wish. Relock meaning lock again if taco is unlocked but doors are not opened. Try it. Park. Lock doors. Hit unlock and do nothing for 30 sec. it will relock. Unless you are telling me you can lock taco. Press unlock. Open a door. Then close the door and taco will lock itself after 30 sec.

You need a retina scan and finger print confirmation to get in it.

Or if Apple car play had the facial ID on my X. That unlocked as I walked up to truck. Yes. I’m patenting that. It’s saved forever on the internet. 15:28 today.

    New LT for everyone!

Thats what mine does, i park, leave truck unlocked, come back and it is locked. Have not tested while sitting in truck during the time period to see if it relocks while fob is in the car but i dont think it would work as it doesnt allow me to lock the fob in the car unless in gear? Havent tested it totally but i know i havent been able to lock when fob inside even when trying. I will turn on the feature and play with it and report back but this is exactly the feature you are asking for. Not sure about MT though

I'll take a percentage since I know feel like I was the (inspiration ) object that doc brown needed when he fell off the toilet and had the vision of the flux capacitor. Well at least the toilet....

I got hit a few months ago for 3k of hunting gear in my drive way. (No guns) I’m 2nd gen but a heads up. I know for a fact I locked it. My boy didn’t get the door shut 100% so the lock will engage, then disengage leaving you unprotected. But I didn’t realize in my driveway. I have house cams so the tweakers got caught.

Good to hear of justice still happening. I would be pissed if my glass got stolen. I paid good money for that stuff.

Ignore what i said. Just tested and it seems to only work if i havent opened the door. Seems like quite a redundant feature. I thought i had a prob with it autolocking after i left it in garage, but i must be mistaken somewhere

There is a setting that allows you to lock door with it open. If disabled and you lock it will throw an annoying long constant chime.
