40K a year for me and I didn't start a thread about it. Why? Because I know people who drive 50, 60K a year lol.

What is bad is when you start calculating the DAYS spent in the driver's seat. Fun math:
    40K miles/250 days = 160 miles a day
    160 miles/60 mph = 2.66 hours a day driving

    250 days* 2.66 hours driving = 666.67 hours a year driving

    666.67 hours a year driving/8 hours a work day = 83 work days a year in the driver's seat. That's sad.

    Assumptions:
250 days a year is average days a year worked
8 hours a day is normal work day
60 mph is average mph of city and highway

Another reason I now drive a Tundra.

Wait'll someone with a used Taco pops in here claiming 50K miles and 2 days' ownership. Jaws will drop. Thoughts and prayers will be traded, then bundled into exchangeable options funds, overtaking gold, silver, cryptos, Kardashian Popo Pics...and we're right here on the ground floor of the next big investment scheme. Yay.

Haven't changed the oil yet, checked at 5k and it seems still a good color and full. It's all highway miles so I'm going to check again soon, probably will change oil sooner than later. Also I do my oil changes myself screw the stealership.

Not too bad. I'm averaging 55ish a year. Maybe start a thread?

And here I am getting nervous when my truck approaches 14k for 2019...
Usually it’s around 10k for me.
And the pops say I drive too much, as he put about 7k on his new tundra from December 2017 !

Be a rebel like me and say fuck you to the stealer 15 and 25k service.

Mine turns 1 year and over 28k miles in a few days....

Thanks for teaching me a few good ice breakers such as mangina and throat warbler and burger in the butt.

Don't forget to get stiffeners for the bed and clazzio leathers. Date night!
