Simple answer is no, once the latest tsb tune is applied, you can’t go back

Interesting. I have a '17 and the TSB was a big step forward, but I know the 18s drove a bit differently. how exactly is it worse?

low rpm cruising, stumbles. like arpund 1k to 1300. no matter the speed. seems lack of power from a stop.

ill add, they did the tune because i complained that around 70 it seemed like it stuttered, bad gas or air in line feeling.

right now, also appears to be in 6th gear at 20 mph

I keep going back and forth on my truck.. Some days I really love the way it drives and others I hate it.
I have learned that keeping it around 2500 is the sweet spot--I use S mode so I can achieve that.
I want the 4.88 or 5.29 gears, but I am afraid how it will affect my MPG since I drive 30 miles one way for work.

And this is the problem. It's unpredictable. Some days I smile ear to ear. Other days I can't figure out why it wants to lug and be sluggish off the line. Next day it could run marvelous with none of that. According to OVtune, there are like 1200 shift maps it cycles through constantly that change the driving characteristics, plus the throttle isn't really a throttle. Often just says... wait for load to hit a certain threshold and downshift. which is why there is a lot of activity in the OVtune threads for 1.05!

Yep, I have thought about going to tundra or silverado a few times because of it. I love the way the tundra drives, it shifts firm an quick.. where our trucks are almost laborious to drive.
I am scared to drop 770 on a truck I am not sure I will keep for a long time... I want a truck that I can keep for nearly a lifetime. Not sure this is it anymore.
