    Tires are the biggest thing for traction. A 2wd on swampers will out perform a 4wd on summer tires.

    Those are awesome, my buddy has one. However, my Kodiak 700 at half the price does 95% of everything he does and does it just as well. Another friend has a Grizzly 700 that is a couple thousand cheaper and none of us could tell a difference in capability between the two outside of maximum speed on a straightaway.

    Depending on where you plan to ride the width of bigger new machines can be a problem as well. In this case our narrow Kodiaks barely fit and scraped the whole way. Anything wider would've had to turn around.
