Can you tell which setting Bilstein's are on by looking?

    Hello all,
I had Bilstein 5100s and OME springs installed by a local shop. I told them to set the Bilsteins to 0" lift and let the springs do the lifting. It came out higher than I expected and I am trying to figure out what setting the Bilsteins are on.

Is there a way to tell just by looking or would I need to remove the collar to see which ring the disc is on?

Also, I've read that sometimes the OME springs can be installed upside down resulting in too much lift. Is that possible? How would I be able to determine if they have been installed upside down?

Thank you so much, the Tacoma World community is awesome.

You will be able to tell what setting they are on just by looking at your assembly. There are three stacked grooves, each groove is a different height setting. For 0 your should be on the very bottom one. If it is you will see the two "open grooves" above it on the shock shaft. You can see the grooves/ height set points in this pic.

My build currently has the 5100's set at 0, with some OME 886's. With a 1.5' block in the back. Overall almost a flat full 3'. Probably 1/4' of rake.
