So the obvious answer is yes, but is it possible to also add sound tunings so that you could either get burbles or a choppy drone sound? If so what tuning device/app would I use?

I think that would really be one of a kind and being someone who loves burble tunes and loud exhausts I’m wondering if it’s possible even for a 3rd gen Tacoma.

Seems like it would be “hard” on the cats.
I think you’d be better off leaving the Burble to the Supra.
I’m sure it can be done to a degree, but finding a tuner to do it, might be the hard part.
    I wouldn’t recommend it.

    If anyone knows, it’s @JustDSM ?

change to a trd pro exhaust gets a little more rumble from what i have read. but i think it would be hard to get it to do "that"

my MT truck is fully tuned and has a custom open flow media-less exhaust. off throttle it does much of what you describe. if you're in DFW you can look me up to hear it. but i still don't think it's what you're looking for, exactly.

i didn't go for this. I'm about performance, and the sounds, whatever they may be, are mere side effects to me. but whatever you like.

    and here's two more things..
1 - without MT independent throttle control (being able to control the load and rpms independently), you're SOL. most likely, at least.
2 - OV, the real deal tuner for our trucks, has said if you wanna go that route with his tuning software (vF Tuner), you are 100% on your own.

    good luck.

That’s is the answer I was hoping to hear.
I guess I’m just to old for doing things that have no benefit.
Even more so if there is potential for problems later.
