I have the parking support brake turned off on my truck (2025 TRD Off-Road Hybrid). That is the stupid thing that won't let you back up if you have bikes on a rack in the trailer hitch.

Every time I start the truck, I get a warning message on the instrument cluster that reads "Parking Support Brake OFF."

Is there some way to get the truck to permanently stop displaying that message ?

I've been unable to find a way unfortunately.

Totally understand and agree with the problem. Nanny Nonsense...

As far as I can tell, there's not even an option in Carista for that one.

Small price to pay to have it turned off. Just sucks you have to click it every time you start up

My solution was to buy a TRD OR without the parking sonar package. No sonar sensors in front or rear bumper so this subsystem cannot interfere with my driving.

When turned off it doesn't interfere with driving at all, and once turned off, it's off. Then unfortunately just a single button press once the truck starts. Annoying, yes. Interfering, no.

100%. Did the same thing. Found this to be very annoying on the 23 Tundra I got rid of.
