Bought a Trust for my suppressor and now wanting to build an SBR. Does anyone know if I will need another trust or can I use the trust I already have and just fill in the areas with the SBR serial number?

Should be the same trust....I had plans to add to mine before I got moved to NJ and the company I used for these purchases was going to add it to my existing trust. my buddy who is still in NC (we listed each other on the other's trust for this reason) is holding on to my suppressor since I can't have it here, but he has a suppressor and an SBR listed on his trust. Also, he got the SBR added 6 months after he did the suppressor. Lots of good forums specific to this stuff on the web.
Care to share what you're putting together?

I have a Sig 556 Pistol that I bought specifically for an SBR build. Finally have the Swiss lower with the folding stock and want to start the process.

Not sure i understand what you are asking..."fill in the areas with the SBR serial number"

Unless your dealer did an item specific trust (which would be stupid) you can have as many items on it as you want. I have 4 suppressors and 2 SBR's on mine currently.

And by that you simply list them on a "Appendix A" (yours might be a different letter).

The SBR serial number is only used on the Form 1 or Form 4 for either making an SBR or transfering it. If you make it you need to have your lower/reciever engraved with your trust name

Wasnt sure if trusts were generic. The trust I bought has a black section to fill in the Manufacture and Serial #. Doesn't state if its for a suppressor or sbr, so was wanting to know if I could use the same trust

You can use one trust for as many as you desire.

Amend the list of property to include the SBR lower only AFTER you receive the tax stamp listing the lower owned by the trust. If you do it before, you are "transferring" the SBR without the stamp. Could be bad...

    This ^^^^

Find a local lawyer that specializes in NFA trusts.

The lawyer I had set up my trust is awesome, I have called him several times with little questions months after it was set up and he was able to answer my questions for free.
