    do you have internet through shaw as well? my montly bill is $160 for cable and internet, which includes $20/month for the HD PVR.

    Internet is Telus , $40 / month , my satellite is about $100 / month with all the HD channels except for the porn and specialty sports channels like NHL Centre Ice and Setanta , that includes a $15 / month HD PVR rental , I should just buy the damn thing

    was looking on the shaw site and I appeared to be getting fucked so I called them. got a new package that's exactly what I had before (package included phone but for some reason my building can't get phone services through shaw so they knocked off $15/month) for $114 a month and I bought out my HD PVR for $98. :)
