Where are you located? My friends located near Sherwood park, alberta. I know for a fact pharmacy techs make close to 20 here.

you didn't say anything aboot pharmacy techs initially. $20/hr for a pharmacy tech I believe. cashier and shelf stockers, not so much.

I didn't say that because I didn't know what the job was (and still don't) but i realized after I said that that superstores have pharmacies and could have been a job like that. Broken tusk said they make 16 near him so maybe my friend over exaggerated. But the point is here you wouldn't make 20 or 16 bucks an hour at superstore unless you had a pharmacy tech job.

As a side note I knew a guy who stocked shelves at different grocery store through college and made less then minimum wage.

I wonder if the meat preparation people or in the bakery make more then a cashier. (I assume they would?)

Is anyone here into direct investing? I just messed around with RIM for a week or so and made a few hundred bucks. Im wondering how much more I COULD have made if I bought more then the minimum amount. Seems like they are gonna climb high with the microsoft deal and BB10

I do real estate and have for a few years now, but I just started investing the last 2 months. I just learned from an older guy at work and practiced with small amounts of money on small stocks. You always loss a bit on small stocks because the fees to buy/sell are more then you would make, but you get to learn how to do it and how to buy/sell good. Its not hard at all to be honest. Right now I invest in RIM, IAE (Ithica energy) and MMT (Mart Resources)
