    ok

3 provinces have held an electoral reform referendum, all 3 resulted in no change.
2 other provinces set dates for an electoral reform referendum then cancelled it.

Tomorrow in Niagara on the lake there is a test drive and demo day for the new 2016 Toyota Tacoma. At the bass pro shop.

That's pretty cool, sounds like they are letting the general public get behind the wheel?

Sure seems like it. That's what I read today in the local news. Seems like you get to put her through her paces.

Could yousee if you can catch a quick couple of pics of the rear pumpkin and driveshaft if it's an OR model. I'm still curious what changes happened there :p.

Also NDP have released the interim budget specifics, half a billion more for healthcare with no word on funding other than "deficit spending". Not putting any spin on it. That's exactly how the article quotes it:

Yeah, quite a bit of exaggeration there lol.

I was just listening to CBC radio 1 and they were discussing how several NDP MLA's were higher up in the local drivers union at one point not to long ago. I think it'll be interesting if the government does end up commenting on this. From both sides it could lead to some interesting questions.

They must have meant feet, not meters. 30 meters is like a 10 storey building, they aren't that friggin big.

Story going around is that Suncor is buying all Komatsu trucks for Fort Hills, as well as phasing out all of their CAT 797's as they come to the end of their service life and replacing them with Komatsu's as well. That will be 930's and 960's. Electric drive trucks, capable of 320 and 360 ton loads. Pretty cool truck, lots of advantages over mechanical drive trucks. I have also heard that the autonomous truck test program that has been running at Suncor for the last few years has worked out pretty well. As stated in the article, it has been used in Australia and South Africa for some time.
I do not agree with the operator in the article. IMHO I do not feel that driving a truck on a mine site is a very hard job that requires more than a week of training.
