Voting at advance polls is up by 16% from 2011 election.

I didn't like the setup, too many proposals that I either disliked or liked the same amount that kept coming up no matter how many times I hit pass, but the results are correct. For me anyways.

Yeah, I did pass a lot as well, some were as in "Really? That's an issue?" or "both those proposals are f'd up."

 

that article says 71% increase in voters over 3 days of advance polling from 2011, or 13.8% of eligible voters. Let's hope this continues and sets the bar for far more interest and people voting this time round.

Interesting and annoying at the same time but it was pretty spot on , I'm half Green , 1/2 Liberal , 1/2 Manbearpig

 

I had to chuckle at "Do your priorities match the choices of the rest of our readers? Find out on this snapshot of each proposal’s overall popularity. A policy that scores 50 per cent was chosen by half our readers." WOW, what an educated conclusion. It must have taken a journalist several minutes to come up with that one.

I saw an investigative article on W5 (or something like that) that concluded their investigation of Milk marketing that 1% Milk really did have 1/2 the fat content of 2% Milk. Who knew? wow.

 

first time I took it, ranked 60% Green. 51% Liberal, 49% Conservative and 54% NDP. Tried it again, did 48% Conservative, 52% Liberal, 53% NDP, but only 50% Green. Weird.

I think I'm back down to the US, this time somewhere in the Midwest next week. I find out my marching orders tomorrow.

Parliament still has to ratify the agreement. So if the agreement isn't good enough for Canadians after the election and the PC's are voted out or lose their majority then that will be that.

 

I realize that the deal needs to be ratified in Parliament

I said it would be nice to know what the Tories intend to sign , the Liberals may sign , and the NDP won't sign before we vote
