Yup the winter crocus have been up a couple weeks and the cherry trees are all showing blossoms.

And this has been one of the colder, rainier winters in memory. Quite a few years I could be golfing in a T shirt in February. (If I golfed)

Yeah, that’s why it that area gets called retirement island around here. It seems like half the farms around here have a grand parent that owns a massive place in Sydney or the Sooke.

Rainy yes , but last year was colder or maybe it just seemed that way because we were trying to do a foundation in January and it kept snowing and being generally shitty with crappy periods haha

Feels like it haha! Southern Alberta weather! We've been hammered this month.

We've only has it a couple months and it was used when we got it from some Saskatchewan guys. We had to do some welding on where it welds to the frame but the guy that repaired it said the first weld was pretty shitty. It goes over damn near any drift so far and we got some big ones! I did break through the front right side today on a 3 or 4 foot drift and it got out no problem. I am pretty impressed so far. Top speed is 40mph and you can' steer when standing still.

Good to see snow fences catchin' snow instead of drifting sand. Remember some Winters almost completely devoid of snow.

Yeah, Alberta and Manitoba switched weather this year lol. It’s good though after the drought we had last year.

I've got about 3' of snow on my front lawn so far. And that's not piled snow either. That's just what's fallen from the Sky.

I drove past a guy on the Dempster Highway in the Yukon who had these and I think he said they cost about $40000.00. He was able to get going about 40kph on them. Are yours about the same?

This that and the other thing.
Just thought I would inform you that Overland Outfitters is now offering a TW discount! they are based out of B.C, I think I mentioned them earlier on in the thread. So, if you are in need of camping gear or even a Prinsu roof rack they are worth checking out for sure. I have ordered a few things from them myself and I have found their prices to be fair and delivery to be quick!

I saw an FJ today with tracks. I was driving so I couldn’t snag a pic. It was a Decisive Farming truck with a sampler on the back.

So what do these rigs do between jobs? Need to be trailer-ed from 1 job to the next?

Yeah that FJ was on a flat deck trailer behind a HD Sierra. You probably could drive short distances on them but I’m guessing like all tracks using them on pavement at speed would wear the treads off fast.

We trailer ours if it has to go on the highway. I think it is elegal to drive them on the highway but it would for sure wear the tracks down quickly.
