Ottawa needed to renovate 24 Sussex Drive. The standard practice is to get 3 quotes . So they got 1 from Alberta 1 from NFLD and one from Quebec . The Albertan looked the job over and said it would be about 11 million dollars . About 5 for materials and 6 for labour. The guy from NFLD said it would be about 10..... 5 for materials and 5 for labour . The guy from Quebec said it would be about 30 million dollars . When asked why so much , he replied , 10 for you, 10 for me, and we get the Newfie to do it for 10 ! Dont laught you havent heard the funny part ..... Alberta will foot the bill through equalization payments !!!

Went for a nice drive up the Hailstone Butte pass this week in Kananaskis. Southern K Country is beautiful for anyone who’s visiting Alberta.

I’m sure they do. Still a large sign for it on the TC highway but never been.

Hey just wanted to let you guys know about my company https://hitchvault.ca I created a box that you can use to lock your keys on the outside of your truck. Or store a spare key!

Here’s a couple pictures. There’s also another thread about it in the 3rd gen section.

Won't that make the truck vulnerable if the key is detected? (Push start)

Can I not just walk up to the door, open it and start the truck and drive away?

No the aluminum blocks the signal, I have one on my 2016 Tacoma and never had a problem. The key would also have to be right at the door handle to be able to unlock the truck

I like this idea, would be really cool if you can merge the bow shackle receiver and a storage case like this. Good work.

Thanks man! It gets tricky when the design needs to be load bearing, also increases liability. If there’s big enough demand though, it can be done ha ha
