    Ive heard its a "Nelson" thing. Basically the town goes nuts! All the bars are packed with line ups into the streets, everyone goes out. Almost crazier than new years. I guess its everyone returning for Christmas and then celebrating after all the family bs is over.

    Yeah I bet that is a good time. Sounds like a party with all your close friends. Like the saying says you can pick your friends but not your family lol. I love Nelson and have to get back there some day.
