    I got the real truth from my Toyota contact. He's a salesman at the local dealer, so you know it's legit. Anyway, he says that it's only delayed. It seems the guys that programmed the text for the new in-dash display didn't actually know French and either guessed or thought nobody would figure out the "salty" French words they used in a few places. Once they have the folks at the Baja plant re-do the firmware, it will be good to go. It should only be delayed a few weeks in his (highly regarded) opinion.

    Due to all the salt on the roads up here in the great white north the Canadian version trucks will be getting the TRD models without the chrome grill. We will be getting the Limited Grill instead which is a rust resistant aluminum. This was told to me by a very unreliable source who has a friend who knows a guy who knows a guy.:gossip:
