A close friend of mine is the sale manager at my local, I'll post prices as soon as he lets me know. He bet me the upgrade package on the trd will be around 1800, take that for what it's worth.

If your dealer won't go below msrp, shop it. Call the next closest dealer and tell them what you've got from this guy, pit them against each other.

I'm planning on swapping out the incandescent bulbs with LED, going to get better floor mats, not sure what type and I'm thinking of putting some kind of graphic on it. Not sure what, maybe like a black strip going vertical behind the rear wheel. Kind go like the scat pack challengers? But nothing in stone. I'll know when I see it.

I was lucky with my dealer as they have been really good with me and never once even suggested MSRP. I'll post some pics as soon as I get it

 

I have had good luck with the WeatherTech Floor Mats, but the mats that will fit the new Tacoma have not been produced yet because the truck is so new.

 

Sunrise Toyota in Abbotsford B.C. Wasn't able to ask questions, no spec sheet or pricing. looked like a demo? It looks great in white, nice interior. Only wish the TRD off road was available in double cab.

Sent you a detailed message in a private conversation. My dealer is willing to cut you a deal. You are in BC though. Maybe they will give you enough off to make it worth to ship? Not sure on how many allocations they got. I took their July allocation. Mine is built and still sitting in the Toronto yard Its tough knowing its there but I just can't get it yet. Hopefully soon.

 

That's my dealership, I should head out there and see what its like. See what kind of pricing they have going on for the 2013 Limited they sold me 2 years ago.

 

October is when they are due to be in the dealerships. I spoke to the salesman that sold me my truck.

 

Truck is no longer here, it was only here for half a day. No one got to drive it or sit in it. They figure mid October is a realistic date they will start seeing their first trucks arrive.

 

So according to the latest info from Toyota Canada, launch here isn't until mid October. Still pushing the 2015's.

I can tell you finance starts at 2.49% for 36 months for the 2016's.

 

The dealer I have been speaking to says he has a white limited coming in with my name on it...

I have reserved an inferno trd sport, gotta see it in person before I pass on it and get either MGM or a Alpine White with the upgrade package. That also depends on the pricing, which hasn't been released yet.

 

Oh I read on some dealer stuff yesterday my friend showed me, it listed specifically LED tail lights. I know some people posted the U.S model not having them.

Along with the usual stainless exhaust, beefed up alternator, starter etc etc

 

Anyone know if the double cab short box will be available with an auto trans this time, or still with just the manual?

 

Hi folks. Long time lurker, first post. Thought I'd join in since I'm in the same boat (Calgary). I'm waiting for the 2016s and disappointed to see that the same arbitrary limitations are persisting to 3rd gen (specifically no off road config for double cabs). No dealerships around here have solid info, though some are trying to pull the "pre-order for x benefit", which seems like nonsense since there's no pricing or final configs yet. Staying tuned.

 

No, apparently it is not available in Short Box/Auto in Canada, I think you can get the TRD OR in Short Box/Manual, Canada is pretty much relegated to Long Boxes...

But who knows what will happen in the future, because IMHO they would sell....

 

If true LED Tail Lights would be sweet and would save me a few bucks in upgrades...
