Part of the problem is the part is made by Delphi....aka GM. Toyota needs to start using more parts by Denso.

Hey man Im still waiting too here in Manitoba!!! Brought my truck in on Dec 16th and I just called them today to follow up and they said motors are on backorder!!! I have a feeling it could be a while before I get my new one. But they ordered the motor and tick click sound insulation according to my invoice. Same part number as you listed earlier.

This sounds like a Toyota issue then, rather than the dealer.Go figure, mine just keeps getting louder. Thanks for your input.

when I just snapped and told them they better order another Heater
fan chirp chirp click tick...........There's got to be some solution to this

:cool:I'm now waiting on a new Blower fan, #2 ,it's on back order.I'm told it
will be a new part number, so it should make a world of difference. I also
had the rear Bilstein shocks replaced as they were bottoming out.

if you do a search I read a thread on how to fix the tic in the heater fan. it's a bearing in the motor a little grease and all's quiet. I have a 2011 with 2550 kms and I have noticed it from almost day one it is a design flaw in the motor or poor workmenship.

My 2011 has been doing it since 700km. I'll have them figure it out when it goes in for its first service.

The newest part number is 4042....4041 according to the shop guy is the one surrounded by foam? He said it basically just masks the noise. From another post on the U.S forum?

Update guys, been over 3 months and haven't gotten the call that my parts have arrived and my friend at the dealer said its mainly foam surround to mask the noise
