Canadian 2016 Tacoma shift TSB

Hi guys, I picked up a 2016 Canadian limited Tacoma in black last month upgrading from a 2012. Love the truck. Drives nice, more refined on the highway. Had the dealer install wrangler 265 70 17 AT/S, which handle pretty good.

But like everyone else have the shift flair and it forgets to use 6th when cruise control is set.

Currently at 13,000KM going in for my first maitnence next month. But noticed the TSB for the ECU update isn't in Canada? Or is it, could any of the Canadian Tacoma owners let me know?
Anything else I need done or checked while its in the shop?

 

Yup we have it. Just tell the service department you have shift flair and P to D or P to R delay.

 

Yes - I got mine updated last month because I submitted a complaint with Toyota Canada with the shifting issues.

The dealer told me there were 2 TSB updates for the tranny that were installed. Ask them to update your multimedia system as well while you're there, there was an update released. My system would stall/restart sometimes on vehicle startup, since then it has solved the issue.

 

Can you post your service sheet with the tranny update stated on it so we can reverence the number at our dealers please
