I feel ya. Just got my sport in June because the only OR was an AC. I have no complaints either, love the sport but I want the array Off Road options as I will use them for work and play!
Have you used the CC or MTS? What is like to have a locking diff?? lol

Holy shit. Just checked the site and sure enough, there it is. Even the Pro is on there....for $50,000!?! And it's over $53,000 for the auto. OMF. That's a bit much. The website needs an update though, if I build/price the DCSB 6MT, I can't even choose between the sport and off road. It's great to finally have the DC OR option though.

Hahaha we had similar decision making but went opposite.

Have used both, though neither was necessary really. So far everything I've gone up was easily handled with 4-Hi. I have yet to use the locking diff, but it's nice knowing I have that when I'm out and about.

There is one sitting in BC for over 59K sticker. Dealer markup lol. I doubt many Pro's will get sold for less than 60 K OTD taxes and financing charges included.

I went white, I wanted white when I bought my 3/4 ton, but just about all were work trucks, so went metallic grey. But the new Taco will be white.

When I priced the pro it was just over 59k out the door, as dealer said full list. I'm sure there are guys getting them for less, but I bet no more then 2k off, which is still way too much to me.

PS The quicksand does look good on the off roads.

Nope not a Pro, regular Trd off road double cab with automatic.

I'm in no rush, other then I was given a rough date so was preparing for then. When I signed I was told mid to late October. I sold my car right after making the deal, so now I'm stuck driving my 3/4 ton till then. The part that bugs me is, I think the next month will be better for selling my truck, rather then Christmas time. I'm gonna check back late this week, and hope I get an earlier arrival!

Phoned to cancel my deposit on the Pro at one dealer today, the first one who told me it might not come in until June 2017.

The service manager phoned me back and his screen said the only one available or incoming for sale anywhere in Canada was in the Yukon there was 1. I explained that a local dealer told me they had 2 incoming, 1 of which had been cancelled for an OR so they moved that over to me for next month. The SM said it wasn't possible and I was being scammed but I told him if it doesn't come in i'll order up an OR no biggie. So we'll see in the next few weeks.

The OR in the automatic transmission will be equipped with the crawl control. There is no Manual Off-road double cab as it wouldn't really benefit over getting a sport manual.

If you are currently driving a Toyota or scion product that is being leased or financed through Toyota Credit Canada you get a 1% interest rate reduction on your new vehicle even if you don't trade it in. The catch is you need to pick up the new vehicle before October 31, unless they change the program and extend it.

IMHO the Off Road is as capable as the Pro but without the fancy crap. The white look awesome, very bright and it will look sharp with the black fender flares and front bumper cap! Have to post pics for sure!

Did you keep the stock tires on your truck, if so how have they been in the rain, snow and mud? What kind of cap are you running?
