try a wire wheel on a grinder or drill?
Should help strip the paint fast.

Maybe consider a little sand blast booth? You can get them from princess auto for about $200. Or even just the gun that attaches to a compressor that has a hopper on it for like $30. Works great for stripping paint. I sand blast all the parts to the BBQ every year.

If you get steelies, they will look like all those black rims people are spending big bucks on right now. But you're right they love salt in my neck of the woods. Aluminum
will look like crap in a few years of winter usage.
I bought K02s from 4 wheel parts when they had a no tax sale and they have the three peak winter symbol on the sidewall. This gives me a slight discount on auto
    insurance.

No worries. I've had mine since 01/16 and never been back to the dealership for any issues. Enjoy your tacos. Mmmmm I love tacos (food and truck).

I didn't do 3M with the dealer but I might end up doing it after, might not. Not really sure since I'll be getting an ARB bumper.

I took the 48 month 140k gold warranty.
Honestly only took it because of the known issues with the transmisson and rear diff.
So I figure good to have the extended powertrain warranty

Hey guys, I'm looking to get a Softopper canopy (or something similar) for my new Blue DCSB OR. Wondering if anyone knows a west coast distributor? currently, it's going to cost about $1200 to get one shipped to Van isle. but I'm hoping there might be a better way.

For anyone on the West Coast looking to get some work done on their truck, look up Kingdom Truck Accessories in Surrey. They just did a bumper/winch and lift install on my truck. Can't say enough good things about Gerry and his team. Quality work at a fair price!

Seems we have twins in the same area, neighbour.;) Could maybe get together for a beer and compare notes. Have my x20 sitting at the shop just waiting for bumper to be built.

Got my truck yesterday. Only 100km on it so far, but I absolutely love it. Great ride, very quiet interior, fit and finish is excellent.

Put the pro grille on yesterday, I'll be honest I'm not as wild about it as I thought I'd be, but it is an improvement to my eyes. Got the rock chip protection on the front end today, then put the skid plate on. It's a very nice upgrade over the stock 2 piece steel one.

I will try to get a pic or two tomorrow, and post em up this weekend.

Lastly I will say, I cannot recommend Kingsway Toyota. Worst buying experience of my life and I've been buying my own wheels for 30yrs. The price was good, but knowing the pain I endured......fool me once shame on you Kingsway. I won't make the mistake again. Should have bought from Mike, oh well live and learn.
It can no longer dampen how I feel about the new ride. Perhaps I'll swing by Mayfield for a new license plate holder so I can turf the Kingsway one.

Had 17 Pro park next to my truck today... the cement grey looks great! I may be trading in for a DCSBOR soon. The access cab is wearing on me, and I don't use the locker as much as I had thought I would haha.

When are you guys putting winters on (if any) I plan on putting mine on in November, still very warm here and the Duratracs do ok in snow.
