Been watching that, and this. There is some satisfaction when the genny is running and lights on...then looking round the neighbourhood...

    Glad you're dry and intact

I get weather warnings at work from Feds for all areas across Canada, they were going nuts. Must have been a dozen emails in 15 minutes. Glad you are safe.

Thanx again...It turns out that a small tornado DID pass through to the south of us....that's why we had to run the genny. We were out of power for 24 hrs.

Hope you guys get some rain relief to put out those fires...... It was smoky when I was out in BC the 1st 3 weeks of July....But I hear it is really bad now...
Talked to my Brother in Oliver yesterday and I could not recognize his voice due to the smoke messing with his throat...!!

    Been there... Nice place..!
My Bro lived in Richmond, Delta, and downtown...then moved to Oliver... Now moving to Mexico full time.
I won't have a reason to come out there anymore, I guess.
B.C. is nice... Wish I'd moved there many yrs ago, as I had a chance to join the Fisheries Dept. many yrs ago...

Oh well... We have rain and no fires this yr.

I'm in Pitt Meadows, obviously. Smoke starting to move out. Crazy though, I work downtown waterfront and you can't see North Shore from the office window,

Seriously? Muskoka is one of the nicest places in all of Canada. Are you on a lake? Beautiful place to live, I'm jealous!

I'm down low, so not so bad. But I can normally see you guys from my place. They are saying tomorrow will be better, northern wind will clear it out, hopefully! Still feel for my friends forced out of their homes, tough for them and the rest of my comrades in Williams Lake.
