Mine has the back up, blind spot warning thing. I've only heard it a few times as I put the truck in reverse and a car was coming through the lot.

I suppose it's a handy gadget. Probably more useful though on a lower car where you can't see over the vehicle beside you and you're slowly inching your way out of a parking spot.

It saved my ass once when some idiot came stormtrooping out of a drive-thru while I was backing up. Truck parked next to me so difficult to see, little Honda with couple of kids in it with the "N" stuck on the back. Anyway, lights flashing and beeps going off made me step on the brake. Nice little option to have.

RCI Offroad makes brackets that you can use to mount the sensors on their bumpers , not sure if anyone else does. So it is possible with a little modification.

Thanks for the video Mike. Wondering what that warning label is on the driver's door? Odd place to put a label.

It says danger this vehicle is equipped with a rear diff locker! You will blow it up if you don't use it correctly.

    Same as an offroad.

Ahhhh, ok. Still a weird place to put it. I'd pull that shit off before I drove off the lot.

It's one of those stickers that don't come off, much like the sun visor ones... Safety First!

This isn't a pro sticker obviously , but same-same text fyi.

Mine has this, but not the parking assist where is beeps constantly and in different tones when you get closer to something backing up. That's the thing that drives me nuts when towing, having the tailgate down, etc. My F150 had it and you just have to turn it off a lot of the time.

It automatically shuts off when there is a permanent obstruction on the new F150's. My wifes 2015 has it. It's really not annoying. It's very helpful.

Yesterday I creamed an irrigation pipe in my 2016 F150 that only has the camera because I let myself become distracted by a couple of idiots who were flying down the side of a ditch that I wanted to be well clear of. With the sonar warnings I wouldn't of creamed the pipe. Camera's are only as good as mirrors IMHO. Computer warnings are nice for little things like this especially with the system can automatically clear erroneous warnings. I hope Toyota has done the same on their system.

I wouldn't mind that, had 2012 and it didn't automatically shut off. Every time you`d throw it in reverse it would beep incessantly.

I find mine picks up most objects. If it's really low to the ground it can be fooled, but anything higher than say a curb, it's pretty good at giving warnings.

so I'm not 100% sure on this, but do our TRD Off Roads come with chrome rear bumper caps too? Or are they color matched? On the e-brochure it doesn't say it has either Lol...I hope it's not unpainted
