That's because the TRD Off-Road is the base package for the 6MT, so they don't list the specific options of that package. The 6MT OR should have a rear locker.

I really hope you're right, because I'm going to order that truck anyways (if my dealer ever tells me when I can), but I hope it has that locker. The MT already gives up crawl control, keyless ignition, and terrain select, which I can live without. I'm still surprised they didn't add height adjustable seats this time around on any of the models.

Any idea if the beige colour in Canada is the same as sandstone in the US?

I looked pretty extensively into the parts catalog, and I would bet serious money that the 6MT OR has the rear locker. It definitely should.

Beige is the same colour, yes.

Thanks Jeff! That definitely helps with the decision making process.

A guy on the American side of this conversation was wondering about the 4x2's including the auto lsd, did you notice anything about that?

4x2 and 4x4's use the same rear differential.

Every dealer I've heard from is saying mid to late October for the 2016's to hit the lot.

Work your dealer and you should be able to get 2K off even with financing.

Here in BC the Dealer I have spoke with says that they will be getting their first one at the end of October with better availability in November.

    So no DCSB with A/T?

People leave notes on mine on a weekly basis, there's clearly demand, what's with Toyota Canada?

Bought it from someone else who did.

Weekly there's a note on it and not from the layman, Tacoma guys leaving notes. On the rare occasion it's in at the dealer 2 or 3 service guys always ask if I'd sell it, then vent on how stupid it is we can't get one up here.

I was SERIOUSLY looking at replacing it with a 2016, it's got 100k miles, and thats miles lol. But if a DCSB A/T isn't available to me from Toyota Canada then I'll drive this one till the wheels fall off I guess.

Hopefully Toyota Canada realizes that they made a error and bring the Double Cab Offroad to Canada.

In 10 years of the previous model they didn't so I have little faith. Anybody know what the top selling config in The States is?

It might change now with Toyota showing off the Offroad features so much lately. If Toyota Canada feels their is a demand for it then they may do it.

    DCSB is all manual transmission
    DCLB is all Automatic transmission
    Same as before.

I went into the Toyota Canada website a short while ago but still no 2016 pricing. I did have a look at the 15 build and price and noticed something I never saw before. Between the TRD sport auto and the TRD sport premium package(leather and Nav) auto there is a new option for a TRD sport auto just Nav as well. It provides few details and would not load a final price at the end of the build. Just wondering why its there now this late in the model year. An oversupply of Nav units or is the site being set up for the 2016 model year.
